We love this area and all it has to offer. As part of our effort to build and sustain the local community and economy, we work with local partners whenever possible.

La fromagerie des Moulins

Pierre Buchillier and his wife run our local ‘fromagerie’, where they collect organic milk from the local farmers and turn it into a variety of dairy products. We buy all our fromage and raclette cheese from them along with other local specialities.

FAQ

I’m vegetarian/ gluten-free/ allergic to xxx. What can I eat?

As long as we know in advance about any special dietary requirements then we will plan around accordingly. We always have non-dairy options at breakfast and plenty of salads and vegetables on our daily menus.

How many people can the chalet sleep?

The chalet has 18 bedrooms, each with 2-4 beds. It can therefore accommodate 18 people in single rooms, or many more if rooms are shared.

Is there WIFI in the chalet?

Yes. There is free wifi throughout the chalet.

what about covid?

Government restrictions and recommendations are changing all the time but we will always have the relevant Protection Plan in place and will follow all the measures it outlines. These may limit the number of people allowed in your group. We will discuss these topics with you prior to your stay to make sure that your retreat is as safe for everyone as possible.

Can I arrive on public transport?

Yes! We encourage you to take public transport if you can. We are on the Montreux-Interlaken Goldenpass train line. The chalet is a 15 minute walk from the station. We can pick you (or just your luggage) up if you would like.

Where’s the closest airport?

The most convenient airport to fly to is Geneva. From there you can take a train to the chalet with just one change in Montreux or hire a car.

What kind of catering packages do you offer?

We adapt to each retreat’s individual requirements. Breakfast, brunch, cold/ hot lunches, picnics, aperitifs, evening meals, fondue/ raclette/ bbq… any and every combination is possible!
